Life threw me a curve ball and I stretched out to smack it on Oct.3rd. It ended up being a home run, but when I got to home plate - I realized someone stole my bat. i.e- i got out of my car to chase a purse snatcher, got the purse, and walked back to my car....WAIT A SECOND - no car. Someone stole it while I was away saving the day. Lesson learned? ALWAYS stretch and smack. You have to stretch a few times to see what you are capable of smacking. OH...and when the curve ball is coming straight at you, don't stretch, don't stand there...DUCK!
As Brandt's mom, at first I was worried about my son. You know, what if he got hurt? Then, I was mad at his dad for ALWAYS going after the bad guy and "like father like son". That didn't last too long though. Finally, I got around to being proud of Brandt for doing something -- anything -- to help. Funny - never once was I worried about the car ...
Hello - nice to have you drop by! I am a christian. I am wife to Kevin for like-ever. His middle name is fun. Kids are grown, and we think being grandparents really rocks. I like good hair days and high heels. I don't usually go to my mailbox without make-up. I am NOT (I repeat, NOT) a morning person. I think everyone should celebrate life -- after 9 a.m.
